You're so much closer to getting a high quality ducting system!
It's a good thing you're here, because your DUCTING IS WRECKED!
Video Testimonial - Below Caleb Witten explains his thoughts on the advantages of our Pre-Insulated Duct Systems. He is a local builder and remodeler, who sees the inside of hundreds of crawl spaces, when traversing them for bathroom and kitchen estimates.
When he saw our product being installed at a mutual client's home, he had to have it installed in his home.
Why use pre-insulated duct?
Our Pre-Insulated Ducting is a Specialized Custom Fabricated system for each home, that delivers precise airflow throughout your home.
Gone are the days of insulation on the exterior of the ducting that WILL fall off over time due to moisture, critters, and the worst, people.
The Galvanized 24 Gauge Sheet metal packs durability, that can give you peace of mind when other companies (such as pest control and cable technicians) need to have access to your crawlspace.
During installation, all of the seams of the sheet metal duct are taped and sealed with a Mastic Duct Sealant for a 0% duct efficiency loss. On top of all of these great features, the 10 year Craftsmanship guarantee is the icing on the cake!

What Type of Ducting is in My Home?
There are several different types of duct systems. If your home was built before 1980, there is a good chance that your home did not initially have Air conditioning installed, therefore, the ducting that was installed for your home's heating system, had no insulation on it.
Years later, a contractor would have had to insulate the ducting (that was specifically made for the heating system) and install the air conditioning system. When this was performed, there was not a lot of common knowledge about how heating and air conditioning systems were supposed to work.
Well the truth is, your air conditioning requires a different amount of airflow than the heating system requires, and this was not well known over 30 years ago.
What Do I Need to Do Now?
Essentially, you need to weigh the options of repair versus replacement. The condition of your existing ducting is unknown unless we schedule a consultation to come out (Which is free by the way).
Replacement of the ducting system is typically easier to do with an equipment replacement, so that the system can be accurately matched with your ducting system and most importantly, matched with your home.
Tidewater Pro Air performs what is called a 'Heat Load Calculation' on each home that requires an estimate for replacement ducting or equipment. In the short of things, navigate to the bottom of this page or give us a call at 757-655-1247 to schedule your free consultation!
We need your information in order to schedule a free consultation on replacing your existing (or non-existent) duct system. Our free consultation requires at least 2 hours of your time. Please allow for all decision makers of the home to be present for the consultation.
